How exciting it was earlier this week to print wedding invitations for a very nice couple in Paris. Somehow Bickham Script looks even more beautiful in French. This afternoon sunlight doesn't hurt either. :)

white ink

I was testing white ink on dark chipboard today, as part of a project I'm planning for June. Here is some white ink on bright white paper. Too subtle for words. (Okay, I replaced this image with one I reshot...the light is just too nice in here today).

a nice yellow

The weather is a little gloomy in nyc today, but printing in yellow is brightening things up. I'm going to be taking some new photography for the website and printing two weddings this weekend, I hope the sun comes out.

Today I finished up some last-minute favor tags for Sasha and Kevin, who are getting married Friday night here in brooklyn. And a friend dropped by the studio with a little unexpected visitor... :) :)

I absolutely love these thank you notes and program covers designed by the bride and groom. The artwork is beautiful, and they chose a nice combination of light and dark green inks. I only met with Priya after her invitations were offset printed...wish I could have worked on those too...!

another vibrant day

Still working with bright ink colors this week, today is a vibrant fuschia paired with a navy blue, printed on a plush cotton paper. I'm printing in sage green and gray later today...some business identity stuff and a bunch of wedding programs. A little more mellow but still pretty. I should be posting some more shots tomorrow. :)

This color scheme seems to be a growing trend these days, so I tried to find a matching shade in my sweet potato vine. I love taking pictures when the sunlight is streaming in...

What a gorgeous day here in new york, and light is just pouring into the new studio. Here's a nice hibiscus flower I printed this week, basking in the sun.
